We'll start with a one-on-one consultation to discuss your goals, criteria, timeline, and budget. We'll outline the home buying process, answer questions, and review the Buyer Information Guide. Once you're ready, we'll establish an agency relationship. We recommend being pre-approved with a lender to be ready for Step 2.
Tour Houses
We’ll start touring homes that match your criteria. As we explore options together, your preferences will become clearer, helping us narrow in on the perfect fit. Throughout this stage, Jess Lex Homes will guide and advise you every step of the way.
Write an Offer
When you find “the one,” we’ll craft a strong offer that reflects your goals and market conditions. Together, we'll decide on key terms—such as price, deposit, closing dates, and any contingencies. Jess will handle the paperwork and negotiate on your behalf to get your offer accepted.
Complete Contingencies
With your offer accepted, we move into the contingency period. This is when we complete tasks like inspections, the appraisal, and a title search. If you're buying a condo or townhome, we’ll also review association documents. Our goal is to work through each contingency thoroughly so you're fully prepared to move forward to closing.
Closing 🔑
On closing day, you’ll sign the final paperwork and the property will officially transfer into your name. Once everything is complete—you get the keys! Congratulations, you’re officially a homeowner. Time to celebrate and settle into your new home!
