What Is An SRES®?

Real estate agents can get extra training through the National Association of REALTORS® to earn additional credentials and specializations. This training enhances our ability to navigate the real estate process with our clients. There are many different credentials to choose from. If you’re interested in knowing about the variety of credentials out there, take a look at this list on the NAR website.

One of the extra credentials an agent can have is the SRES® designation. SRES® stands for Seniors Real Estate Specialist®. Agents with this designation are specially trained to help real estate consumers aged 50 and older navigate their real estate needs, such as buying, selling, investing, and financing.

In addition to our extensive, firsthand experience with downsizing clients from the older adult population, we have chosen to complete the SRES® training and stay engaged in the SRES® community to ensure we give top-notch service in this arena.
