I am Katie Wagner, professional organizer, move manager and owner of Renewal by Kate. I launched Renewal by Kate in April of 2020 to help busy families, people who are relocating and seniors who are downsizing.

We see these transitions as a valuable opportunity for you to evaluate your possessions and decide which ones best fit the story you want to tell in your new home. We compassionately work alongside clients to decide which items to keep, donate, sell, share or toss. Our goal is to help clients downsize their belongings into the "best of the best." Which items have earned their keep? We will work together using a lens of "gaining" rather than "losing" during this transition. Editing your belongings is not "losing something." It is gaining; gaining an environment that is authentic, calm, inviting and inspiring.

My team and I serve as accountability partners and experts that provide a framework and strategy for editing your belongings. We make the process of downsizing less overwhelming and work at a pace that is comfortable for you.

We provide personalized solutions, including:

• Assisting in the sorting and decision making of personal belongings
• Coordinating sale or donation of items and passing down of heirlooms
• Coordinating trash and junk removal and recycling drop-off
• Decluttering and Organizing

Here are some meaningful questions we use to evaluate an item. Give them a try! 

• Is the item important to me? Do I love it? Treasure it?
• Does it increase the quality of my life?
• When I’ve had the opportunity to use it or wear it, have I?
• Is it hard to replace if I need it again?
• Does it fit reasonably and comfortably into the space I have (now or in the new home)?
• Will I have more space to do the things I want if I give it away?
